Welcome to Lee Corps
We provide a youth led, adult facilitated, Christian cadet program to foster leadership and a love for Christ in our communities youth. Below are some of the things we do.
Bible and Prayer
Christ is the center of our program. We believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and we can do all things through him who strengthens us.
Leadership
Cadets are led by cadets. the youth led model allows older cadets to learn valuable leadership skills while mentored by the adult staff.
Mirroring a military model each cadet is expected to know their duties and teach it to their subordinate cadet.
Drill and Ceremonies
Cadets learn and lead military drill and demonstrate their abilities during community events including Veteran's Day parades and laying wreaths at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery every December.
Military History
The Lee Corps believes educating America's youth in our nations history is important. The lessons learned by generations before us are provided through periods of instruction both in a classroom setting and through a number of trips to historical sites in Kentucky.
Appologetics
As a Christian Cadet Training program we believe the ability to defend ones faith and share the Gospel is key. We don't claim to have all the answers but know where to find them!
Land Navigation
Cadets learn how to read a map, operate a compass, and learn how to use the military grid reference system (MGRS). These skills are used during the bi-annual field exercise to navigate through 80 acres in Western Kentucky.
